Throughout the year, we plan a variety of inspiring events that highlight the work we do.


Graduations – Events held in February/March, June and October to recognize several of the newly formed partnerships of an assistance dog and a person with a disability.


Open Houses – Quarterly presentations for those who would like to learn more about Can Do Canines.


The Fetching Ball Gala – A wonderful evening held each winter, celebrating Can Do Canines.


Can Do Woofaroo – Our family-fun festival is held in September and includes a variety of exciting activities.

Gaming for Good at Treasure Island

Treasure Island Resort & Casino 5734 Sturgeon Lake Rd, Welch

Treasure Island Resort & Casino has generously selected us as their April Charity of the Month. Join us there for an exciting, free event, Gaming for Good, Sunday, April 24, between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Gaming for Good presentations, including a special welcome from Executive Director Jeff Johnson, a client speaker, a heartwarming video and an assistance dog demonstration, are at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. in Treasure Island's "Full Deck" space. Throughout the day, take part in family-friendly activities, such as making dog enrichment toys, coloring dog-themed costume masks and observing puppy training classes.
