Your Support Created 17 New Partnerships
Your support helped graduate 17 new assistance dog teams on Saturday, June 18 at Can Do Canines facility in New Hope, Minn. Three of the dogs who graduated were rescued by the Animal Humane Society and then adopted and trained to be assistance dogs by Can Do Canines. “Adopting future assistance dogs from the Animal Humane Society benefits everyone involved,” Executive Director Alan Peters says. “The dogs are given a loving home and a person with a disability experiences increased freedom and independence.
