In 2007, Terry took a downward tumble, literally. While at work as a welder, he says, “I fell backwards inside of a stainless steel tank. It was about a 12-foot drop. I woke up four days later at HCMC, and they told me I wasn’t able to walk again. I severed my spinal cord.” Despite the devastating injury, Terry opted to keep channeling a positive attitude. “ You only have a few choices in life, you know, and something like that happens. Facility Dog Hershey is Making a Sweet Difference in Multiple Lives
“Chocolate” is often what comes to mind when hearing the word “Hershey.” But Hershey, one of Can Do Canines’ newest Facility Dogs, is known as “a ham”! His handler, Haley, comments on his facial expressions, wrinkly eyebrows, and goofy personality, but also says, “He is the sweetest boy who only wants to be by your side and make you smile.” The smiles that this yellow Lab, Golden Retriever cross produces are very much needed.
