Jazmin’s Journey from Prison Pup to Perfect Partner

Jazmin, a black Labrador, was paired as a Mobility Assist Dog with her human partner, Marina, in 2022. Marina has degenerative disc disease and auto-immune disorders. Jazmin’s specially trained skills include picking up dropped objects and pushing an emergency button to alert for help, allowing Marina more independence.

Your gift makes more partnerships possible. YOU empower Can Do Canines to match more teams like Marina and Jazmin. Your impact will allow our dogs-in-training to transform more lives in the near future.

Can Do Canines, founded in 1989, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for people with disabilities by creating mutually beneficial partnerships with specially trained dogs. We breed, raise, train, and place six types of assistance dogs:

  • Hearing Assist Dogs
  • Mobility Assist Dogs
  • Seizure Assist Dogs
  • Diabetes Assist Dogs
  • Autism Assist Dogs
  • Facility Dogs

Can Do Canines relies primarily on individual contributions to provide specially trained assistance dogs to people with disabilities. Each trained assistance dog costs $45,000, on average. Since our inception, we have placed more than 900 assistance dogs, free of charge, with people with disabilities.

Your generosity makes it possible for Can Do Canines to place assistance dogs with people with disabilities and children with autism. Thank you for your support!
