The Legacy Club is a select group of donors who share the conviction of our mission now and in the future. They express that conviction by including Can Do Canines in their estate planning.
Legacy Club planned gifts come in all sizes, from a few hundred dollars to more than a million. More and more people are discovering that planned gifts allow them to support Can Do Canines while also accruing benefits to them and their families. Depending on the type of your gift, benefits can include income or estate tax deductions, increased disposable income, and elimination of capital gains tax on appreciated assets.
As a member of the Legacy Club, you’ll have opportunities, if you choose, to be acknowledged publicly and to participate in our events. But perhaps the most important benefit is the knowledge that your charitable planning will help perpetuate — beyond your lifetime — our work in providing assistance dogs, free of charge, to people with a disability.
