Throughout the year, we plan a variety of inspiring events that highlight the work we do.
Graduations – Events held in February/March, June and October to recognize several of the newly formed partnerships of an assistance dog and a person with a disability.
Open Houses – Quarterly presentations for those who would like to learn more about Can Do Canines.
The Fetching Ball Gala – A wonderful evening held each winter, celebrating Can Do Canines.
Can Do Woofaroo – Our family-fun festival is held in September and includes a variety of exciting activities.
We invite you to join us at one of our upcoming events. Click on a listing to view more details.
We will be hosting an open house on Saturday, November 11, from noon-2 p.m., at our campus. Potential clients, volunteers, or anyone who might be interested in supporting the organization is invited to attend to learn how an assistance dog changes the life of a person with a disability.
There is no pre-registration for this event, so please join us on November 11. You will be asked to share some contact information at our registration table upon arrival.
Watch a trainer demonstrate some general skills an assistance dog can perform.
Talk with a Puppy Program volunteer and staff members from our volunteer department.
Pose questions to client services coordinators about the application process.
Staff will discuss general information, but attendees should not expect to apply for a dog while at the event.
Meet graduate teams from each of the five types of areas Can Do Canines trains dogs: hearing, mobility, seizure, diabetes and childhood autism.
