Bring your friends (the furry ones too!) and help us celebrate the amazing partnerships of assistance dogs and the people who need them. This outdoor, family-fun event includes a one-mile fundraising walk, live music, a dog costume contest, an assistance dog demonstration, dog-centric vendors, and more.

The event is held rain or shine at Can Do Canines facility in New Hope, MN.

How can I participate?
Get involved with this engaging event by attending, creating a fundraiser, starting or joining a team, donating to an individual or team, making a general donation, or by volunteering at the event. Complete this form to sign up as a volunteer.

ENTERTAINMENT AND ACTIVITIES

Music performed by American Bootleg.
Assistance Dog Demonstrations—See the different ways that Can Do Canines assistance dogs help their handlers.
Dog-centric Exhibitor Booths—Browse and shop.
Tours of the Can Do Canines Campus—Get a peek inside the facility where our assistance dogs receive final training before being matched with a person with a disability.
Food
Marketplace—To purchase Can Do Canines merchandise.
Caricatures—A caricature of you and your four-legged friend is the perfect personalized souvenir. Cost per drawing is $15 for the first face and $10 for each additional face. Cash or card accepted.
Glitter Tattoos—Temporary glitter tattoos are so much fun! They can last up to 7 days. Customize your design with your favorite glitter colors, making each one unique and one of a kind. Cost dependent on design. Cash or card accepted.
Paw-Print Paintings—Put your dog's pawtistic abilities to the test with a Paw-Print Painting. Dip Fido's paws in pet-safe paint, press onto provided unique surfaces, and voilà—your very own Pawblo Picasso. You can create your own unique keepsake and benefit Can Do Canines. Cost dependent on surface chosen. Cash or card accepted.

DOG COSTUME CONTEST

For extra fun, enter your dog in the dog costume contest, held on stage in the afternoon. Costumes can be creative, humorous or just plain cute. Winning dogs will receive some great prizes. Please make sure costumes are safe, comfortable and cool enough for a September day. Be sure to sign up at the Dog Costume Contest table next to registration by noon.

EVENT CHECK-IN

Everybody who fundraised must check in at the registration tables between 10 & 11 a.m.

Pre-registration is available before Saturday, September 14.

Beat the rush and register early! We are offering early check-in to turn in your contributions and collect your prizes on the following days. Visit us at 9440 Science Center Drive in New Hope, MN:

September 12 or 13 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

UNABLE TO ATTEND THE EVENT?

You can arrange to turn in your contributions and collect your prizes by appointment after the event. Please contact Kathy Broten at 763-331-3000, ext. 9152 or kbroten@candocanines.org.

You can also mail in donations to Can Do Woofaroo at the Can Do Canines address. (Please don't mail cash.)
