Large room with different signs for open house stations with many people standing talking and walking around

We will be hosting an open house on Tuesday, August 19, from 6-8 p.m., at our campus. Potential clients, volunteers, or anyone who might be interested in supporting the organization is invited to attend to learn how an assistance dog changes the life of a person with a disability.

There is no pre-registration for this event, so please join us on August 19. You will be asked to share some contact information at our registration table upon arrival.

To request a sign language interpreter for the Open House, please contact Laurie at [email protected] or call 763-331-3000 at least two weeks in advance. We'll do our best to accommodate late requests, but availability is not guaranteed.

Special Promotions!

The first 75 people in attendance will receive a free cup of Culver’s custard, thanks to Culver’s-Golden Valley.

All attendees can enter a drawing to win a Bogg beach bag (value $72) plus accessories! This includes a Bogg phone holder and a Wekapo beach blanket. Bogg bags are known for their unique combination of durability, spaciousness, and washability. They are made from a sturdy, flexible EVA material that is waterproof, tip-proof, and easy to clean. The bags feature a distinctive treaded bottom for stability and are designed to stand upright, even in windy conditions.

We will hold the drawing at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 19, at the Open House. If the winner is not present, they must be able to come later to Can Do Canines to pick up their prize.
