Graduate Emergency Canine Medical Expense Grant
This grant supports qualified, active assistance dog teams with unexpected canine medical expenses. An application must be submitted to apply for this grant. Once the application is complete, a committee will review the request to determine if it qualifies for financial assistance and at what level.
When offered, grants will not exceed 75% of the total medical expense, with a maximum grant of $5,000. Graduates may only apply once for a particular medical situation and may not apply for assistance more than twice in a 12-month period. This grant is funded up to a maximum of $25,000 per year. Once that amount is reached in a calendar year, no other grant requests will be reviewed.
